Café Merci - Kronberg

We tried twice and every time we were deeply disappointed. the cakes were simply tasteless, too buttery and in a case the cookie base was hard and stale. that is style over substance.

Cozy small town atmosphere with super cake, friendly service and coffee, which (like another reviewer it set) is about as good as recommended in Germany.

We visit Cafe Merci every visit to Germany. The pastries are outstanding. We also always enjoy a leisurely lunch at the Cafe; always outstanding. Cafe Merci is a must visit for all.

The coffee and the cake were very nice. The girls who served were so unfriendly. Our fresh orange juice was very bitter, the waitress took it away and said nothing. No ‘sorry for the inconvenience, I will bring you a new one’. I did not...felt welcome. And the orange juice was on the bill. When I mentioned this she said nothing and named the new amount without the orange juice.

We took espresso, tea and small cake. The cake was not so bad also nothing special. Definetly euro for such small cake is to much. Espresso was just bad. The only advantage of this place is really nice location.
