Ruen Mai - Krabi

Amazing food. Shrimps, Omelette were highlights. Curry had good mix of spices and perfect. Top of it, its very well appreciated. Best value for money and best food in Krabi.

The food is suuuuper spicy but definitely worth burning your insides over. We had the Tom yum Kung nam Kon which is as mentioned, super spicy and super yummy. Served better with rice. The Nam Prik Kung sod, which is shrimp with chilli paste, is tangy and sour and amazing. The ambience is so soothing and calming. It is real treat for the eyes. A tad bit expensive but worth it.

Such a little gem food is delicious and truly local. The flavours and ingredients are genuine and the presentation doesn’t let you down either. Just sad I didn’t get to try the dessert because I was too full with the salad and curry! Google maps gets a bit off with the direction, but don’t give up, it’s going to be well worthy in the end.

I have now visited this restaurant twice in the past week and have consistently been impressed by the quality of their Thai salads and crab curry, which have unique and complex flavors. The sato beef is also delicious, and the fish is always very fresh. It is clear that each dish is prepared with care and love.
