Ruchi Bhavan - Kozhikode

Except the lighting arrangements inside the restaurant everything is of good quality. All the dishes are served with good quality. Rate is also affordable, not overpriced. Service is also good. As the lighting is very dim, the restaurant loses it's ambience.

The restaurant is 100 meters away from Kozhikode KSRTC. It is a clean place and you can see the area where they are preparing the dishes. The service was quick and the taste of the food is good enough. It only serves vegetarian dishes. The prices are very much similar to most of Kerala. One masala dosa with a vada and coffee comes to 100rs. So ideally 100rs per person can be said as an average cost. I would recommend the place to anyone who wants to have some good vegetarian cuisine. They do accept cards and UPI payments.

Masala dosa 4.5/5 Tried their masala dosa which costs 70/ . Taste wise I really loved it, two different types of chuttney along with thick and tasty sambar. Mixing all and having a bite really made my tummy and mind satisfied. I would prefer this over Dakshin's masala dosa, as the masala content is also more. They just have a non ac restaurant option, which is located in the 1st floor if a building. You have enough parking space for cars and bikes but as there is no lift facility people who have issues to climb up stairs would find it difficult to go and have a dine in from there. They do accept UPI payments, and the building also has an ATM located on the ground floor, so no need to worry if there is any technical issue with UPI. Do have a visit for some tasty veg food, they are open from a long time and have gained support from people.

Ruchi bhavan is one of the oldest and best vegetarian restaurants in kozhikode. it is located opposite the restaurant sagar and very close to the railway station ksrtc. There are hardly parking spaces and they are better at the parking lot in the ksrtc station. eating is really delicious and the service is fast. the price is also reasonable.
