One staff member speaks good English and always helps me and explains the options. It's not fancy, not a place for a date or special occasion, but for what it is I don't think you can get better.
Very good food. They have a regular menu and a spicy menu with pictures on an iPad. Try the sweet-and-sour glutenballs and the BBQ-Seitan! You can also have your food for take-away.
What we liked is the neighborhood it's in and the temple across the street is very interesting. Must see. The food is not that tasty, a little bland. We ordered the dumpling noodle soup (bland and lumps of noodles stick together) not a big deal, the egg plant with black pepper is the best dish. Fu Jian fried rice is so so.. broccoli with mushrooms is very tasty.
Update This place upgraded to all-vegan in 2016. - It's pretty good here. Tasty Chinese food at reasonable prices. The guy serving was helpful enough. I was with a native Canto speaker but for anyone eating in a group without native Chinese speakers, the guy serving today spoke at least some English. Updated from previous review on 2015-12-20
