Raahath Fine Dine - Kovalam India

The quality of the food at this establishment may not be up to the standards that some patrons may expect. It appears that Raahath is currently surviving due to a lack of nearby competition in the fine dining category. However, if a more competitive restaurant were to open in the area, it would likely force Raahath to improve their food and service or risk closure. There have been instances where the serving managers, particularly those from North India, have exhibited a negative attitude towards customers. This has resulted in poor or nonexistent service at times, and it may be perceived as an unwillingness to help customers. One individual, who may be identified as the manager of the serving staff by his white shirt, named Salaamba, declined to provide a side dish that normally accompanies the main course. While other servers were more accommodating, this individual created a disturbance by stating that the side dish was not available. Based on my experience, I have decided that I will not be visiting this restaurant again. While the establishment may be categorized as a fine dining restaurant, I believe that it may not meet the standards that some customers expect.

Previously this was a favourite of ours among the local restaurants. There seems to have been some changes in the table staff. Where before the waiting staff had been friendly, attentive and helpful, tonight 4 or 5 of them wanderered around and were disinclined to take our order. When someone eventually condescended to do so there seemed to be little interest. When our order arrived one item was missing. 3 requests to our waiter over a 15 minute period got the eventual response 2 minutes , as it hadn 't arrived 5 minutes later we told him to cancel the item, finished what we had, paid for that, and left. Truly awful service. We usually leave a generous tip, but not tonight. Won 't be going back any time soon. Get your act in gear Raahath!

The restaurant provided an average dining experience. The food was decent, and the service was satisfactory. However, the ambiance lacked a distinct charm, and the menu could benefit from more variety. It's an okay option for a casual meal, but not particularly memorable.

The food was excellent and the prices were very economical ! The non veg food was amazing , the drinks were really good . The quality and atmosphere of the food is great . I had chicken tikka , kerela porotha , beef roast , mango delight mocktail , all were delicious . Had a great experience and would highly recommend it !

Delicious non veg food and generous quantity served! We ordered egg bhurji, chapati, fish alfaham chicken Mandi. All the items were very delicious. We ordered half Mandi amongst 3 people but we couldn't finish off the rice served. The quantity was also generous. The restaurant is clean and has good ambience for family.
