The Brown Crunch - Kottayam

What do we need when we go to a new place… something that just makes your tummy feel good. Yes I mostly opt that. Well here is “The Brown Crunch”, a small, but still spacious, cute little place that gives you home made or freshly made buns, cakes, pizza, burgers, coffee and so… When you enter, you get into a new world, the aura, the smell, makes you already feel the place. I had my own doubts in ordering what not to, wanted to have one of each, the names were so tempting. We got seated, and the boys came over to take the order. Service was also fast. Each item started to come in and fill our tables… BBQ pizza (5/5), Hazelnut coffee (4/5), peach mojito (5/5), coconut pineapple pastry (5/5), mac n cheese pasta (4/5), pesto sandwich (4/5 the bread was so light on the stomach), mushroom grill sandwich (4/5), fresh buns(5/5), Blondy (5/5 a must TRY). Out stomach was full but the mind was wandering in and around the menu for more Thank you team for the tasty experience around your Cafe. My recommendation goes 200%, if you are in Kottayam then is a MUST TRY. Cheers

I’m at a loss for words when it comes to the food they serve. They desserts are absolute killers and they are by far some of the best desserts I’ve ever tried, the ambience is amazing and they’ve done the interiors very well the place is fantastic date spot and I would recommend this place to everyone else the food we had was so good that we went there on two consecutive days and loved everything we had there. The brown crunch is super underrated for the quality of food they serve. Do try their chocolate truffle if you can.

Recently I have ordered an Oreo Shake from your shop costing Rs 160 via Swiggy. The quantity of the same was just terrible only. Since I ordered through Swiggy there was an option to complaint about the same. However recently Swiggy is not allowing to talk to an agent instead they are reverting back via mail in next 24 hours. So I connected with the same restaurant.The lady who spoke with me was very rude and was just asking to raise a complaint through swiggy only.I have clearly told her as of now I can show you the pictures without even opening the glass. She was not even ready for the same and keep on insisting to do the same through Swiggy. I just want to make one thing very clear about the same. Even though its the mistake from restaurant, the lady who spoke to me was not at all ready to accept the fact nor ready to see the proof by herself. This in no way is acceptable. I'm just adding the photos just to make my side clear. Just a small advice to the lady over the phone.... Try to accept the mistake if its from your side. It doesn't matter if you refund or not. That shows how much of a professional person you're in dealing your customers.

The brown crunch has a very uniquely curated menu which is much different from what’s available in this locality. Wide variety of choices available here gives a different experience in every visit. Quality of food is very good, we liked their New York cheese cake, Turkish pide, seafood Calzone, Georgian Khachapuri, and club sandwich.

The food here is amazing starting from their desserts which are rich in its sweetness and stays true to the name. Their pastas are also a must try. The taste of the sauce will fill your mouth and is served with garlic breads. I have never had a bad experience based on the quality of the food served here. However, the waiting time is usually 30-40 minutes on an average. The price of the items are on an average 250-400 for the main course. The only drawback is the fact that it is a compact space with less seating arrangements. It is designed in more of an intimate dining style. However, the setting and vibe match the place.
