Best Non Veg Restaurant in Kotagiri. Its small , You need to wait for your turn. Food taste good, in my opinion its little spicy for children. Mutton is great. Fish and chicken are also available. Menu is limited but meals are unlimited. Sure you can give it a try. we had lunch at 3pm...and still there were crowd.

Run by two brothers, Hari Mess, is really the best place to go in Kotagiri if you are looking for fresh, authentic and tasty non veg food. Been here everytime I have visited the Nilgiris. Tip: Go early for lunch as the place gets crowded with locals who frequent this place.

Nice Mess in Kottagiri Town owned by Malayalees. They dont have any wide veriety of dishes. But the food they providing is very good and delicious. Main problem is ..there is no parking facility. We have to park the vehicle in some other places and reach there by walk.. Mostly local peoples uses the mess for meals. Main dishes are BIRIYANI, MEALS CHICKEN 65 CHILLI CHICKEN FISH CURRY, FRY. The price is also reasonable.

Authentic Indian meals availible for lunch. Non veg hotel with homely taste in food preparation. Veg friendly also. Good lunch option with limited option.

Giving 4 star because Seeraga Samba is not used for biriyani. Otherwise wonderful taste very cheap in price. Chilly chicken must try. A very small mess only 10 persons can sit but the taste is just phenomenal.Crowd keep on arriving ask for biriyani. Luckily we were the last one's to get biriyani as we went by 3 PM only. Go atleast by 2 PM to enjoy all their menu. Coming to the rate it's the only inexpensive mess in whole Ooty with such good taste. A must visit mess for all food lovers also very very budget friendly.
