Deepa Curry House - Kota Bharu

Had 'nasi lauk kambing ' a set of rice with lamb cubes curry. Meat is soft, curry is just nice not too spicy but watchout for the bits of tiny bone fragments in the curry

A great little family-run restaurant near to the hospital (HRPZ), and usually packed by hospital staff during lunch hour. And it's understandable because the banana-leaf fare is quite good with lamb, chicken, tofu and veggies, all in for a decent price of around RM10, with drinks. At the end of your meal, don't miss out on the rasam (herbal soup), unique and delicious. For those in luck, Fridays are their special briyani day.

If you're a fan of Indian food especially banana leaf meal, you should definitely go during lunch hour! Cleanliness good, service good, cheap meals, and you'd wish for a bigger tummy. I think I had the best Indian meal in KB at Deepa.

Big portion , lots of veggie , delicious curry chicken, and reasonable price. A must try Indian food in kb !
