More of a vacation or experience than just food. Perfect. At the end we talked to the hosts for a long time. It was a wonderful evening that went by far too quickly and while we were talking about it we even forgot to leave a tip. We hope that this wasn't too bad for us, because we will definitely make a reservation again the next time we are in Koper. Vegetarian options: Best homemade pasta with truffles. Service: Dine in

GREAT HOSPITALITY, COZY ATMOSPHERE, DELICIOUS LOCAL KITCHEN. I read about this place in my German travel guide and placed it on my bucket list. A good decision. After an enjoyable ride through the mountains above the beautiful Slovenian coastline and with great views of Triest too, I reached Na Burji. Hidden, almost unimposing in a small village. I was welcomed by the cheerful waiter, who prepared a table outside. I started with a glass of Malvazija, the delicious local white grape, while watching how he heartily serviced new customers. He asked about my preferences and I decided for sliced beef on a „bed“ of salad and vegetables. Very tasty and tender. Just a perfect simple dish.
