Faeries' Landing - KOOTENAY BAY

I visited this restaurant to try the hot mamba based on previous Yelp reviews, but unfortunately I couldn't find it on the menu. It seems like it may have been removed from the menu.

I had been recommended by multiple people to visit East Mamma, and I finally came for a lunch meeting.

I began my meal with the Stracciatella Fondante, which was the creamiest burrata I have ever tasted.

I just met the best helpful and friendly people in Canada. Today, I traveled with my two kids to Ainsworth, BC, Canada. I came to Kootenay Lake Ferry, parked my car in line and accidently locked my key inside the car. I had no spare key with me, no Canadian money and no people around who I can call for help! I was standing in the rain and cold wind with 2 kids in the foreign country. I came into “Faeries Landing Art Market and Bistro” to ask them to help me find a local locksmith. On Saturday my chances were close to zero. But God sent me the beautiful lady Lee who works at “Faeries Landing Art Market and Bistro”. She found a locksmith and took me to the bank, so I can get some cash to pay the guy. She gave us hot coffee and sandwiches while we were waiting for my car to be unlocked. I am so thankful! I also want to tell big thanks to the locksmith Mark, who using his awesome skills opened my car in 5 minutes! Thank you so much wonderful Canadians! God bless you all. We will be definitely swing by “Faeries Landing Art Market and Bistro” in the future to get some coffee and delicious sandwiches. AND even if we lock the keys in the car again, we know that we feel like home at “Faeries Landing Art Market and Bistro” simply because they are the best! Thank you
