River Dance Lodge Idaho's Outdoor Adventure Resort

This is our third year at River Dance, and we absolutely love staying in the glamping tents—they truly offer a unique experience! The staff is fantastic, with Jodi and her dog Echo taking great care of us and serving delicious meals. The atmosphere is peaceful, perfect for resting, reading, napping, and swimming in the clear waters on the beach at Three Devil. This place feels magical, and we plan to make it our annual retreat. We highly recommend it—don’t miss out!

We had a fantastic time here with our little ones, and the staff was absolutely wonderful. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating for us and all our guests throughout the entire weekend. I do wish the cafe had been open, but they were kind enough to let us store our things in their kitchen to prepare. The cabins are great, though a bit lacking without air conditioning; however, it wasn't too uncomfortable. We loved the place and think it's perfect for a big group or a weekend getaway with a loved one. We will definitely be back!

When I called to inquire whether the policy would apply in the event of a family emergency occurring just 28 days before our planned arrival, the lodge confirmed that we would lose the entire amount of approximately $1,000, regardless of the circumstances. The most lenient cancellation policy we had previously encountered allowed for a full refund only if the room was rebooked after cancellation. I hope that by sharing this public account of what seems like an unethical policy, it prompts a reconsideration towards a more reasonable cancellation policy for the benefit of future travelers.

Beautiful place. we were tented in a glamping and we loved it. the service staff were all very nice and took the time to chat with us during our stay. the lochsa was amazing. all the other rivers seem a little less exciting now!

The staff was awesome and dinners included in our package were delicious. We stayed in a Glamping tent which was roomy with a comfy bed and the soaking tub out back was definitely a plus. We look forward to returning and plan to stay in a cabin next time.
