Schloss Monaise - Konz

The atmosphere in a chateau of the 18th century is attractive. excellent dishes are freshly prepared and beautifully presented. the service is friendly and somewhat unconventional.

The meals have been in order so far. for a normal restaurant .. but not to expect in such a place with such trips. 7 guests all together on a Saturday evening in the whole restaurant. and 2 hours to get the main course.

We went to the castle monaise for a team Christmas dinner and it was simply amazing! the setting is great, service impeccable and the kitchen: a tasty bite!

15 years I've never had a disappointment contract, I was always thrilled. my American man has two favorite restaurants in europa, one in brüssel and closed monaise is the other. the food quality is high and very consistent, a kind of belgian/french cuisine with fresh seasonal ingredients, and some variations on old German favorites like sour wort, or (a favorite) the German griessknoedel. the personal is friendly, consistent, effective, inconspicuous. they trust me in these, they were always and I eat at least once a month. I regularly only mean a thing that may not experience an occasional hospitable: they don't know that I can bring me a meat-for-a-kind bear because I don't eat meat and they know my taste in wein and always find me a new ogne or a bordeaux for the one. they are also famous for the wine cellar. what else? I find that eating and drinks very appropriate. the building is beautiful. the summer terrace is a tasty bite. I have never disturbed to review their online reputation until last night when I took a friend to the restaurant, and when we left, she told the personal that she was so sorry that she had never checked it before because the online reviews were so mixed, and that she 'd certainly be back.

The beautiful castle from 1779 is now renovated and used as a restaurant. all details are original rebuilt and repainted, so you feel like 200 years ago dining or having lunch in this luxury monument. also the dishes are very special and you can taste...fresh and finest ingredients. furthermore you get an awesome view to the river mosel and to the surrounding parc with his show jumping that you can see best from the terrasse. try it, its worth it!
