Fryd - Kongsberg

I removed a star because of the air conditioning. I couldn't use it, it was too hot in the room. that is the half of the point. the second half is the view. I know there is always the place where it is not amazing, but good is: the room itself was quite ok. bed was comfortable, the room itself was quite huge. the breakfast was great. staff very friendly and helpful.

A rather standard chain hotel. good lighting in the room, but ordinary lack of everywhere to dinge in bedroom or bathroom. an evening meal for our group of 38 was sufficient, but disappointing that the main course was lukewarm and served on cold plates. the breakfast was good. personal very helpful, especially are more on the recipe and dina? in restaurant.

I spent two nights for a conference in kongsberg. beautiful room with a good bed, good curtains, good shower etc. the breakfast was also very good. friendly staff.

The room was ok, standard as expected. The staff was friendly but did lack some understanding of good customer service. Questions were answered by short answers and straight faces without a smile. The hotel is marked as “dog friendly”, but we were told to take the back door because some guests didn’t like dogs. Never experienced this before, and we’ve had dogs at many hotels. Made us feel like second rate guests. Breakfast opened at 8 am. This is at least one hour too late when you want to hit the road early.

Beautiful suite near the rapids. Food is good. No complaints. Gym, breakfast included.
