Hungry Tide - Kolkata

Ordered a ham bacon spicy mayo chicken club sandwich and a ham spicy mayo chicken club sandwich. The sandwiches come with a pack of potato chips. The sandwiches are nicely made with a good amount of mayo given. On a previous occasion the chicken smelt funny but on this order we just had, the sandwiches tasted fresh and it is a pretty satisfying meal. You also get an egg in your sandwich. But basically you get a lot of bacon and that should be the main reason why you should eat this sandwich.

Had tried out the Shepherd's Pie and Fish n' Chips a long time back. Was happy with both the quality and quantity of the dishes. Look forward to trying out more items in the future!

Have been a fan of there food for the last 5 years, everyone i have recommended this place are now cult followers of hungry tide. There food is like the upper limit of a scale which no other eatery have ever come close. The to go menu, fiji salad, nob sandwich, bacon fried rice, shepherd's pie, chilly pork.

Today, I finally decided to try this restaurant that I have heard nothing but good things about. Based on my friend’s recommendations I ordered the Bacon and Ham Diffried Rice and the Devil’s Chicken (gravy). Oh boy! I was not disappointed. The Diffried Rice was loaded with bacon and ham, and it was packed with flavour. The Devil’s Chicken complimented the rice perfectly.The food came piping hot and well packed in plastic containers. Kudos to the Hungry Tide team for bringing something different and tasty to the table.

The all pork paella was loaded with ham, bacon and berbeceu pork. The green peppers and onions helped to cut the fat. The crispy Konjee Pork was a tad bit sweet which served as an excellent side course with the paella. The star of the show was the coconut chutney they serve on the side. Adds a unique dimension to the entire paella experience. Affordable and cheap eats. The manager did provide us with seating arrangements even though they do only takeaways. Pocket friendly place with some unique continental dishes. Students adda for sure.
