Located at the hatibagan more, this place offers excellent bangali cuisine. The service is too slow which is an inconvenience but the good behavior of the staffs makes up for that. The food is truly amazing and price is a little on the higher end according to quantity. But quality of food is great. The fish pulao and mutton lababdar is a must try, I would add.
Amazing food expirience .. Nice place to visit and dine .. At North Kolkata .. Order takes time to be delivered .. So it's advisable to order all at a single time .. Lunch time crowd is mostly from 1pm onwards .. Weekends are preety crowded .. So plan by 12pm .. Paid Parking can be done closeby near Hatibagan Market .. It's a good place to try out some delicious food starting from Bengali to Chinese and Mughlai .. (Out of the menu Thai food is also available) just enquire the service person .. He will respond accordingly .. Bon Appetite..
My gastronomic encounter at this establishment, to put it mildly, was a confluence of both delight and despair. A most vexing issue was the protracted delay in the presentation of our repast, a lamentable circumstance that left us ensnared in culinary anticipation. Moreover, the ambience was rendered overwhelmingly populous, eroding any semblance of serenity. To compound these tribulations, the service exhibited a lamentable lethargy, a veritable hindrance to the gastronomic appreciation I had earnestly aspired to. In sum, the cuisine, while potentially commendable, was overshadowed by the disconcerting protraction of delivery, the madding crowd, and the languid ministrations of the staff, constituting a vexing repast, marred by the interplay of these irksome elements.
Methinks I shouldst provide a comprehensive account of mine recent visit to Care of Bengali in Hatibagan, for it had its merits and demerits. In fairness, the victuals did delight the palate, for the quality and quantity of fare were commendable. The flavors were rich, and the portions ample, a glimmer of hope in an otherwise dim experience. Yet, the shadows of dissatisfaction loomed large. The service was, alas, slower than molasses in January, causing our patience to wane. The menu card, on paper as thin as a reed, did not befit an establishment of repute and bespoke a lack of care. Furthermore, the atmosphere was densely populated, akin to a market square during a festival, making it nigh impossible to dine in peace. The confines of the space and the din of the crowd disrupted any chance of a serene repast. Thus, Care of Bengali revealed itself as a mixed bag, where the food shone as a bright spot in an otherwise dimly lit establishment, with its tardy service, delicate menu card, and bustling ambiance dampening the overall experience.
