Blue Beyond Rooftop Restobar - Kolkata

Few days ago we visited their and the view from the restaurant is fantastic and mindblowing. It is a rooftop hotel&restaurant. Their food quality is awesome. And the quantity is also perfect. And they serve alcohol. It is a very soothing place for chilling with friends. Recommended their dishes.

This is more of a romantic space. A perfect spot for dates with the special one. The Kolkata skyline looks pretty and evenings are magnificent from here.

Beautiful rooftop restaurant cum bar. Reasonable price for each food item. Food includes Chinese, Indian, Thai, North Indian. Great ambience with soft background music. Great view of the Kolkata, three side open. The whole restuarant and staircase covered with rare photographs of Kolkata, portraits of eminent film personalities and rare photographs of film like Pather Panchali etc. The warm light gives a different look to the entire restuarant. Located just opposite to Simpark mall inside the Lindsay Hotel on the 9th Floor. No parking area in the whole area. Will be better if you taking cars park them on Park Street and walk towards Simpark mall. The whole area is fully congested due to the adjacent market. Now taking about the Drink, it's bit expensive as a beer bottle will cost you around ₹375. They only serve 330ml pint bottles no 650 ml available and no pitcher and tower as well. Don't look into Zomato, as most of thr item is not available currently. No sisha/ Hookah is available. They do have a open smoking area where you can smoke. Must try: Shredded Lamp, drums of Heaven, fish item on starters. Button biryani is bit expensive as it will cost around ₹500 but sufficient for two people. Main course: Must try Mutton Roganjos, chicken Kasha and lacha paratha(2-3 sufficient for two people). Food quality is adequate and sufficient according to the price. Best time to visit: 5pm to experience the view of kolkata during summer. 4-4:30 during winter.

Nice place, unique ambience, alcohol based items are good, but the other foods are not up to the mark and the price is very much high. Just as the rooftop is awesome it will compensate the taste of food. Recommended for spending time with special once
