Ol Yourz! - Kolkata (Calcutta)

In this treading weeks of lots of new restaurants food bloggers of Kolkata somehow missed this place. Located on top floor of Baisakhi Mall in Salt Lake Sec II its an awesome place to enjoy.<br/ <br/ Decoration and Ambiance :<br/ ————————————————<br/ This place is huge. Sofas are comfortable, Outdoor sitings with city view is amazing, Spacious space bar is an added advantage, Music playing outdoor turns the mood on and overall decent dining. Just a little bit of maintenance is needed and it will be more than perfect.<br/ <br/ Staffs and Management :<br/ ————————————————<br/ Staffs are well behaved and fast. We were already late still they didn’t declined our order. Management just need to focus on good maintenance of this place. But maybe due to less visitors they are unable to do so.<br/ <br/ It was a birthday treat of Akash surprise was all set. Thanks to Abhipsa Srimani for discovering a place like this. To start chill the mood we started with the mocktails.<br/ <br/ Classic Mojito and Oreo Shake :<br/ ————————————————<br/ Here the Classic Mojito was thicker than usual with lots of mint leaves and diced lemon. It was quite refreshing. But something better than this was Oreo Shake. The balance of sweetness was excellent and the thick drink of crushed Oreo tasted really good. Half dipped floating Oreo on it made this drink an eye catcher.<br/ <br/ Next coming to the Soups we choose the following…<br/ <br/ Tom Yum Non-Veg Soup, Hot Sour Non-Veg and Lemon Coriander Non-Veg Soup :<br/ —————————————————————————————————————————<br/ I don’t like Tom Yum Soup much, still gave it a try over here. It wasn’t much hot like I’ve tried before, rather with the basil leaves, Thai herbs flavour and very small diced chicken it was quite okey to try if you don’t like thick soup. But where comes the Hot Sour Soup they made it really well, thick healthy and tasty. Lemon Coriander was made the same way but with little more vegetables and very lite flavour and colour of Coriander.<br/ <br/ Now the dishes comes where chef’s shows their real talent, Starters…<br/ <br/ Garlic Fish, Murgh Israrli Kebab, Maahi Kebab and Dragon Paper Chicken (4.5/5) :<br/ ————————————————————————————————————————<br/ Maahi Kebab is one of the most softest kebab I’ve tried till date. It was fish based kebab with red spices on it that was softer than paneer from inside. Served with spicy onion rings it not just looked delicious also it tasted so different, so good that didn’t even felt like fish. It was just melting in the mouth with lots of flavours. This dish was such an amazing job done by them and a must try over here.<br/ <br/ Garlic Fish Dragon Paper Chicken tasted good with traditional Chinese spices. Pieces were of average sizes and it was well tossed in sauces that made it full of flavours.<br/ <br/ Murgh Israrli on the other hand was with filled up with Indian spices and its mixed spices also felt good.<br/ <br/ In mains also there were quite few items. We started with these…<br/ <br/ Butter Naan, Dal Makhani and Dal Maharaja (3.5/5) :<br/ ——————————————————————————<br/ This combo is quite often ordered in every other North Indian cuisine. Dal Makhani and Dal Maharaja both were traditionally served in a bucket with cream on it for added taste. Dal Makhani was simple where Dal Maharaja was made of mixed pulses. Both the dishes tastes well with their well made soft Butter Naan.<br/ <br/ Veg Fried Rice and Singapore Fried Rice (2/5) :<br/ ————————————————————————<br/ Both the rice were well cooked but tasted very lite and dull. Just the Singapore rice was coloured yellow and with little more spices. But they matched well and made the flavour of side dishes overflown.<br/ <br/ Fish Chatpata, Mutton Bhuna, Dum Paneer and Murgh Kali Mirch (4/5) :<br/ ———————————————————————————————————<br/ All the side dishes were greatly cooked and tasted well with rice. Fish Chatpata and Dum Paneer was little less spicy where Mutton Bhuna and Murgh Kali Mirch was more spicy and rich in taste. All the dishes came with enough quantity and gravy in the handi. Their Panner items were really great to taste and must order here.<br/ <br/ We also took Green Salad, Papad and Raita. Green Salad was well served with fresh cut vegetables, Papad was baked not fried and Raita looked delicious but could have been little better.<br/ <br/ Brownie with Ice Cream (4/5) :<br/ ————————————————<br/ Last but absolute necessary a delicious dessert is needed after this heavy meal. Brownie with Ice Cream was the perfect one for us. Dark chocolate brownie tasted nice when mixed with the melting vanilla ice cream.<br/ <br/ Now that's how a foodies treat looks like. When I say big, It means really BIG. After this heavy meal we were completely full. Thanks to their comfortable sofas, we rested there for sometime then enjoyed the beautiful city view from their outdoor seating balcony and finally left the place with complete satisfaction. A day well spend, Thanks to Ol Yourz.<br/ <br/ Pricing :<br/ ———————<br/ Pricing was relatively cheaper considering the quality of food and the place. Also they sell vouchers on Nearbuy and Little, so another positive point to visit this place.<br/ <br/ Conclusion : <br/ ————————<br/ I’m not sure how they've got an average rating but for me its really a beautiful place for hangout with friends or with your loved one. If you haven’t visited this place yet, then you are seriously missing a good one. Good food, Fast service, Rooftop view, Outdoor sitings, City view Bar availability, Its just a complete and perfect package that someone can hardly ignore.

The restaurant is located at Salt Lake,Sector 2, 3rd floor of Vaisaakhi Mall.Both indoor and outdoor sitting facility is available.I preferred the outdoor sitting much for the view and definitely for the music. The place is spacious. Perfect place to hangout with your family and friends. Hookah and Bar facilities,both are available.They have also Billiard table for playing.Coming to food,it was good.A proper maintenance is definitely needed. Otherwise,its cool.

This cafe is on the second floor of Amp vaisakhi mall. Ambiance is really good. Loved this place. Foods are good. They serve hookah as well.<br/ <br/ Ambiance 10/10<br/ Food 8/10

As we all knw dat saltlake is so popular for places to eat.. Many cafes, bars nd restros are situated in this area.. But 'Ol Yourz ' its a hidden gem in saltlake.. <br/ <br/ Located on 3nd floor of Baisakhi mall in sec2.. Which is a bit difficult to find if u r not frm saltlake area.. <br/ <br/ Its a superb multi cuisine restaurant cafeteria, Chinese, Indian ,continental , hookahs,full bar nd many more .It has a large dinning space.. They have both indoor and outdoor sitting arrangements.. In outdoor area thy have also pool table where u can play game. In der beautiful hanging rooftop area u can enjy wid ur loved ones,friends or family . Top view of saltlake, nice ambience, solo music, soothing lights adds some extra touch to make dis place wonderful..<br/ In air conditioned indoor area thy have also pretty good decor, comfortable sofa sets, nice wall hangings, febble lights which gv it attractive classy look. In this indoor part thy have full bar available..<br/ <br/ <br/ Staffs are friendly and well behaved.. All of thm were properly dressed and courteseous.. Specially oreo shake, mahi kebab, chocolate brownie with ice cream are delicious.. Presentation of all d dishes was incredible.. properly garnished.. <br/ <br/ Pricing is reasonable.. It will not hurt ur pocket.. .. This is one of d best place which can satisfy ur tummy as well as ur mood.. <br/ Overall a really good experience.. Would like to visit again...

It's in d baisakhi mall.One must try dis place.Ambience perfect.Staffs friendly. Prices are very reasonable.Qyality is gud.Its a bar cum restuarent.And if u are a paneer lover den do order palak paneer.Its taste is awesome.
