Nilesh - Kolhāpur

Too much hyped restaurant. The quantity of actual chicken fry served was 3/4 small pieces with big bones. We had ordered extra fry chicken but same 3/4, pieces in Rs. 120 per plate they charged. Two rassas are seems to be unlimited, they keep serving you until specifically stop them. We tried bhakri, it was not thin. Taste were same as the other chicken thali restaurants are serving in near by vicinity. Not worth the money.

Highly impressed by their Special Mutton Thali. Proper Kolhapuri thali. The tambda pandhra rassa was amazing. The Mutton bhaji was very tasty with Bhakri. Highly recommend this dish to anyone coming Hotel Nilesh. Service wise very kind staff, atmosphere is basic but you can view their kitchen too.

Only Thali option is available at Hotel Nilesh. They serves only Chicken and Mutton in the thali. Mutton biryani is also good. Recommend to family. Staff is very helpful and polite. Hotel ambiance is very simple but one can forget that due to quality of food. Every must try dining here. Time 7:00 pm IST onwards everyday Location is 10 15 minutes walkable from Amba Bai Mata Temple.

Best place in Kolhapur to have the famous local dish named Tambda Pandhra rassa (red white gravy). The quantity was appropriate and the refill on the gravy was filling. The mutton fry thali was the best part alongside chicken masala thali. There is egg curry thali for eggitarians as well. Prices are also well within budget. Definitely recommended for non veg lovers visiting the city.

Hotel Nilesh is very average in taste and ambience. Don 't try Mutton thali. Trust me it 's a waste of Money. I would highly recommend Hotel Gandhar in Shivaji Chowk Kolhapur, Kolhapur. Trust me Hotel Gandhar is really awesome.
