Den Gamle Graensekro - Kolding

This place is always a positive delight. I have been here several times and it is like eating in a living museum, (in a positive way. the calm, relaxed atmosphere, the friendly service and really nice food. Definitely a place worth considering if you are in these parts.

A real Danish “kro” with tremendously good food and superb service. We came in unbooked and although they were busy with two private groups, they still offered us full attention and a good lunch (and even water to our dog! :

We had been told about the role it has played in Danish history and found very little of that history. Very ordinary rooms seems more to be a place focused on large groups.

The picture is not an exaggeration, the food is very good but portions are just huge, and large enough for two to share with some left over!!
