Service is awful ordered a calzone was told 20 min. Arrived 20 minutes later no calzone. not one person in the restaurant area or anything in the pizza oven and my order had not even been started. waited another 25 minutes for them to make it and itwas made awful... both outside thirds of the calzone were all bread and a big bubble in the middle third with the toppings. will not be back
Tasty and boy do they get the job done. I read some mixed reviews but some loved it a lot so I came in myself. Let?s just say I came in hangry and I left happy and stuffed. The staff wasn?t unfriendly, they just did their job getting my order, which isreally a step above most places these days. She didn?t say hello, but she did say thank you. And they all looked like they wereworking hard and the kitchen was clean, which again is way better than most. I re-read the reviews that complained about serviceand I see those were months ago, so maybe staff changed over. It didn?t say anywhere what kind of crust to expect on the pizza. It was definitely hand tossed crust because I could see them spread out a fresh dough ball on a metal sheet. I figured it wouldbe a flat pre shaped crust like Dominos and those. Nice surprise. I got a whole order of breadsticks and wow they are amazingand so big. I?ve never seen or tasted ones like that. These aren?t greasy like Fazolis or tasteless like Olive Garden either.Clearly handmade too. Highly recommend.
Subway is ok, Penn Station is better, but omg I?ve found my heaven for sandwiches and I?m not sure I can go anywhere else again. I didn?t think it mattered much if bread was ?fresh baked? but really was frozen vs made from scratch or whatever. Thisplace makes their own bread right there from scratch. We saw the lady doing it in front of us, hand kneading that dough. It wasso pillowy soft I wanted to go jump in it. The taste of the bread haunts me now and I have to have more. Ok, now about therest. It was a bit of a wait to get our food after ordering, but I like that I can see in the kitchen so I could see they wereall working hard on making food. The seats looked empty but it was a beehive of busy there, lots of carry out orders! We?ve hadfar worse waits in Kokomo these days to be honest. The food was hot and cheese was gooey. I had the chicken parm sandwich sorry ?Grinder? and it had nice chunks of chicken, and the whole thing was HUGE! I looked up Penn Station and I was surprisedtheir biggest sandwich is 12? long (subway too) and it costs more than this, and this was a monster 16?!!!! And cost less!!!With scratch made fresh bread on top of all that! Yeah, I?m freakin out a little over a sandwich uh I mean GRINDER but I?m asuper fan now of Mancino?s, that?s all I can say!!! And the breadstick?so good but I took most of it home because it was somuch. Next time, I want to try a stuffed breadstick and I might order a half Grinder next time, because it was a lot but hey Iadmit I ate all of it, cause it was just that good. If I do get a half, I?m getting that cookie that was calling my name in thebasket on the counter. ???????????????????????? Oh one last thing? my coworker eats gluten free and his bread looked almost asamazing as mine somehow!! Gluten free usually looks like tiny flat garbage bread to me. But his was fluffy and looked actuallygood! And he devoured it so I didn?t get a pic. I?m still not eating gluten free, but for my friend
I love this place but I?m sad to be writing this I am not one to bash or even want to leave reviews but I?m hoping for change. I waited 35 min for my food jusy for it to have been sitting up there the whole time, when I got home my sandwich wasn?t even madecorrectly. I hope this place can get back to how good it was years and visits prior I?m sad to say the least
