Dan's Variety Bakery - Kokomo

We absolutely love Dan's! Whenever we're visiting family, we make it a point to stop by since we live out of town. During my last visit, I got so caught up admiring and choosing donuts in line that I missed the Cash Only sign. Oops! Luckily, a very friendly and efficient young gentleman set my fresh selections aside while I quickly went to get cash from a nearby ATM. I was really grateful for that because they sell out so fast. It's rare for them to have day-old donuts since they’re usually gone by 9 or 10 in the morning. They’re just so delicious! We devoured them too quickly to take any photos. Lol!

Delicious! My husband picked up some freshly made donuts early on a Saturday morning, and they were amazing! It's really convenient that you can grab them even at 1 am. He went around 8 am this time.

OMG, these are the best donuts I’ve ever had! They’re light, fluffy, and absolutely melt in your mouth. It’s a fun experience waiting outside in line with others for them to open. The prices are fantastic too!

If you get there at 1:00am when they open, be prepared to wait 1.5 hrs or less. Perfect time to go is around 3am, however, things are locked over by then. Regardless, these donuts are so good!!

If you’ve been around Kokomo very long than you know there’s nothing like fresh donuts from Dan’s! This place is GREAT! Bring your cash or checkbook, because Dan’s doesn’t take plastic.
