Mama Beach Residence - Koh Phi Phi

The restaurant has a great location, being quieter than a row of hotels but still close enough to easily walk to bars, restaurants, and nightlife. The room is well-maintained, the staff is wonderful, and the breakfast is excellent. I will definitely be revisiting next time. Please note that Google Maps may show it as being on the beach, but it actually has a hotel garden and a massage area right by the beach.

The staff is very nice and helpful with everything! they even had vegan breakfast options .. unfortunately only soy yogurt and vegetable milk alternatives .. but better than nothing! the only thing that bothers us during our stay was the really bad smell in our bathroom. Besides, I can definitely recommend this hotel we were so glad that it is located a bit far from all loud bars and party location! we recommend booking the private long-run boat through the hotel, we had the best time with our own capitan and the price was much cheaper than elsewhere!

Looks nice from the outside but rooms do not feel clean. The bed is also odd, set back on timber and hard to get in and out of quietly. It is a bit a of walk from the centre of Phi Phi, despite this, there is a very loud bar behind going until the early hours. We slept better in the centre of Phi Phi. Breakfast was a bit odd, flies all over the pastries. Eggs made to order, which were fine, but arrived long before any sign of a coffee. Bathrooms were the strangest part, partly open to the outside, not enough to fit a human, but bugs and free passage into the room. Toilet backed up and leaked sewage over the floor. We had to move rooms, same odd bathroom set up. Had to hang around on checkout while they checked we hadn’t had any from the mini bar (we hadn’t). No offer of a discount for what was quite expensive sewage room, or even a beer from the minibar. The outside area of the hotel is the reason for some stars being given, nice outside area with loungers and near the quiet end of the beach.

Very nice stay at this hotel on the island phi phi. I recommend you visit this place. even if they do not have room reservations in this hotel, they are welcome for a good Thai massage with views of the sea. also they can visit a bar on the beach side the best cocktails on the phi phi inseln are here many thanks for a nice stay in this hotel

Super practical to find a place that has vegan options in phi phi! there is a vegetarian menu, with some things that are vegan marked. Eating was nice enough, but great, but a good sound.
