I tried a seasonal beer called Cherry Boy, which had a subtle hint of cherry, as well as the Drunk Monk Tripel and a white beer called Fresh Start. The menu featured unique local dishes such as Houtou pasta, Roast Houtou in three aromas, and even horse bacon. The atmosphere and music were very relaxing, making it a highly recommended spot.
The restaurant is in a fantastic location near Kofu Castle and Kofu Train Station. It is spacious and great for groups and parties, with a brewery right on site. The atmosphere is welcoming and easy to navigate, and the display of beer and food is delicious. The beer is amazing, and the brewer is a great guy. In the past, there were concerns about the limited selection, but now they offer around 20 different kinds, though not always available due to seasonal and space limitations. Despite this, there are always six fantastic options to choose from.
The restaurant is welcoming and offers delicious food, as well as a variety of beers. They play English music, and while it may not always be crowded, it provided a peaceful atmosphere for me to plan and work.
Where I start at all... especially there is a lot of quality beer on tap, from local Yamanashi brews to other areas of the world. When I visited, I knew I had to order a round of their flights. the music was funky and chilly, the restaurant itself remembered an outdoor beer garden with tasteful green. the food was delicious from the pizza to the surprising mouth that irrigated the mischo houtou, which was their takeover of the yamanashi delikatesse. I'm sorry I don't look past this place every day.
Great place to go get beer and some good food. Not as large of a list as what I am use to in Chicago, USA but good none the less. If you are expecting an american micro brew pub this is not the place. But a local feel on the second floor with a good selection of beer and 1 or 2 of there own beer. Bar Keep said they make 170,000 L a year. Nice mild beer with not much head. Great on the hot Japanese night I went. Food was good, more modern then traditional stuff, but was great pairing with the beers I had.
