This bakery with cafe can only be recommended. Versatile offer, nice atmosphere and friendly service.

The Landbäckerei Schmidt always convinces me of its quality of the entire range. It is good that there are many branches in the region around the headquarters in Leupoldishain and therefore also close to my residence. The sellers and the service are always friendly, polite and attentive. During a trip to Saxon Switzerland I like to visit the Café Leupoldishain again and again happy. Breakfast here can only be recommended. A look at the decoration is also worthwhile – in the pre-Christmas season, the pepper cake house is a “hingucker” – in a smaller version also to buy commercially.

Nothing against the baked goods, they are really delicious. But: I was drinking coffee with my mother at the Krietzschwitz branch. Since we know that no caffeine-free coffee is offered, my mother always has a packet of soluble coffin-free coffee. Our request for a cup of hot water has been met, however at the same price as for a cup of coffee. A very expensive water... that has absolutely nothing to do with customer service. If the hot water is not offered free of charge (which would certainly not lead to ruin when the bakery was sold), a lower price would be justified, and finally the coffee powder is saved. The Landbäckerei Schmidt has seen us for the last time... Also the really good products we will not buy anymore, there are also other very good bakeries.

Unfortunately, we were more than disappointed. After a few years we were happy on our holiday and especially on the then very tasty semmals (not rolls ... the disappointment was unfortunately huge, because of the tasty sponges there was nothing more to taste. Furnishing fresh semmlets feel at and taste like 3-4 days old semmals .... they can hardly be bited off and you have the feeling you chewed on rubber .... if we hadn't been back on the road again, I would have brought back the whole shopping ... unfortunately very SCHADE ....

On our journey to Bad Schandau we found a new confectionery, bakery, cafe shortly before the fortress Königstein. With the beautiful yellow glowing facade it was good to see from the 172. Coffee thirsty, we're bent... and we were speechless. A huge parking lot, without fees. A great offer of cakes, cakes and treats awaited us and there was even something deficient for the stomach. The carrot stew tasted excellent, and I also enjoyed a freshly tapped. My sister-in-law has tried the flame cake and my husband has the Ragout fin. Then I have to mention the chocolate ccino, I can only recommend it and the coffee house cakes... a poem. If the weather was so bad otherwise we would have missed something. The agricultural bakery is still very new, it stood on a floor plate in 2014. It is modernly furnished. So we can only recommend it to everyone. Oh yes and still what: The Knüller.. you can even look at the entire bakery after prior registration... We'll do this on our next visit. For there was no time left. So Secrettip.. at the 172 .. I believe the place is called Leupoldishain, coming from Pirna, right in front of Königstein there is a roundabout and there on the right side.
