Restaurant Petite France - Köln

The venue is located in the student’s quarter of Cologne on the corner of two main roads. Parking on the street is possible but the available parking lots are often occupied. They have an outside dining area on the foot walk with like a dozen tables and an inside dining area. The food is mainly from the Alsace, e.g. “Flammkuchen” (Tarte flambée). Unfortunately the “Choucroute Alsaciene”, Sauerkraut with sausages, is only available on advance order. As to be expected, Munster cheese is used. But the “Flammkuchen” with Munster is very special. I had Guinea fowl with maple syrup and green beans which was yummy. The Riesling from Charles Wantz which we had on the side was yummy too. The service was nice and kind.

My wife and I were in the Cologne area on family business and chose Restaurant Petite France because her cousin recommended it, it proved to be an outstanding choice! Our evening was a perfect dining experience with soothing ambience, professional and courteous service and most of all, remarkable French food. My duck with green beans, potatoes au gratin and green salad may be the tastiest meal I've ever had! We can't wait to return to Petite France!

A very good place in Sülz-Klettenmberg. Two levels I would say, the classical flammkuchen in different variations and a more sophisticated range of dishes. We enjoy this food and good wines in a soft ambiente, which lte you recover from a day's work.

Authentic Austrian star kitchen with excellent wine and beer selection. For this purpose a super friendly and competent staff that also acts pragmatically when you dance on Saturday without reservation. Thank you to you and until very soon!
