Café Römerpark - Köln

Extremely pleasant place with something homely and comfortable about it. The freah teas and juices are surprisingly tasty and the breakfast menu is comprehensive. You will be disappointed if you expect an elaborate lunch menu but whatever is there is delicious ! Great place to come with a book or your Kindle or to catch up with friends and family over brunch as I am doing today :

My boyfriend and I spent a long lazy Sunday morning at this cafe. We had some eggs, we had some Schwarzbrot, we had some Brötchen, some tea and coffee, and three slices of cake, salami, cheese... and my God, it was an amazing morning because of this feast. The service was friendly and quick. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the food is great. I have a feeling that our server was also the owner, so we got some special treatment. I love supporting local shops and this definitely one of those that I would like to see staying succesfully in business. So if you have some time and hunger on a Sunday morning, go ahead and let me know how you like it.
