Sometimes you really want döner. Sometimes, your flight is late and the train ticket machine eats your coins and you miss your bus and you're an hour and a half past the time you thought you'd make it your destination and you NEED döner. At that point, you've been fantasizing about what your döner might taste and look like and that's when I tell you: Hayat Restaurant has your dream döner. My chicken döner plate was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the salad was freshly cut, the pickled cabbage, fantastic. The tzaziki sauce wasn't too garlicky, and the sprinkled it with sumac. Sumac. Like it was some high-end, Middle-Eastern restaurant. They care about the food they give you. Even at 11:35pm on a Sunday, they care. I paid 9,40€ for the plate and a drink (achtung! Cash only! Seriously, I could not have imagined a better döner plate. I'm pretty sure that I've never had one.

Good location, easy to find. Staff is fast, friendly and helpfull. Portions BIG enough. Immigrants really know how to make awesome döners. Local people use this restaurant too, which is allways good sign Tested: -falafel plate with fries -chicken döner plate with rice -waterx2 cola Worth for the money 12€, absolutely!
