L'alsace - Koebenhavn

We went to the first night of our 3 overnight in kopenhagen to Alsace. it was great. we had the 3-course menu with matching weep and we have both made about food and wine quality and service. it was very busy for a Tuesday...night, but every member of the dining room team we met were friendly and helpful. we would highly recommend this fabulous restaurant.

Our city walk guide recommended this restaurant for seafood in kopenhagen, and we were so happy that we have taken their suggestion to heart! this restaurant is located in a charming, quiet courtyard in the heart of kopenhagen, has no English menus, but our server was happy. to translate. for lunch they offered 2 or 3 cures or a la carte. I enjoyed some delicious mosquitoes while my man tried the fish special and everything was delicious, including brot and butter.

Asace was recommended by a friend in the country and I spoke to connect three “ding friends” in me here. fine selection of food. we had starters and main courses and our waiter helped us find a perfect wein wish I could come back tonight!

We ate 4 people and had the fried fois grois and salade gourmandaise first. Both were excellent. You don't want to eat anything else or brush your teeth after eating the fried fois gras which was served perfectly fried and a nice size meal. Deeeelicious!...Afterwards we had the halibut and tournedos. Again it was excellent. Our very black waitress commented on our wine selection with wide eyes and shaking her head in disbelief and suggested a nice alternative. She spoke part Danish, French and English and mixed up the words which made for quite a bit of fun. Somehow we thought of Manuel from Faulty towers, it was al a bit confusing and arrogant. But again, excellent meal and nice ambience.
