Beau Marche - Koebenhavn

Beau Marche is a cozy place in central Copenhagen that will give you good simple food and a real French atmosphere really recommendable

We were starving after spending a few hours at the David Collection and were directed here on the recommendation of a local. It looks like a furniture store with some outdoor tables in front, but if you go through the courtyard, there is an adorable cafe in the back. The waitresses spoke in French to each other, so I assume this is a French establishment! The food was very fresh and good, though not particularly Danish, so if you are going for something local, then this is not for you.

Charming concept with a interior decorating shop with lovely things and a French style wine cafe. Salads and sandwiches are on the simple side but tasty. Good wines, ok coffee. Great atmosphere. Take a seat inside the courtyard cafe or outside on the pavement.

This restaurant might be difficult to find but very hard to leave. Excellent choice for a daring and some light food. Do not miss it

From the busy street of Ny Østergade 32, you walk through the gateway into the inner courtyard, open the door of Beau Marche Cafe a Vins, and suddenly, you are transported hundred of kilometers away to a cosy, intime and welcoming French cafe. And it is not only the interior that is French, the menu is as well,with all the classics: Croque Monsieur and Croque Madame, salads such as Salade Chevre and Salade Mixte, dressed with the salad sauce that you find nowhere outside France, tarte aux pommes etc. All dishes are prepared on the spot in the tiny kitchen behind the counter. A very charming place, and I can't wait to come back, this time in the spring or summer.
