Little did I know how wrong I was! The restaurant is run out of their own home, with just a couple of tables. Almost the whole family welcomed us. Our son played with their kids and watched TV as he ate the cereal we prepared for him with the bowl and warm water that they were kind enough to provide us. We did this as they prepared our order. The spaghetti we had was good, aloo stuffed paratha was fantastic and sandwich was great too! They started preparing things fresh only after we ordered. None of the batch preparation and re-heating nonsense was there. There was so much passion in the whole process of cooking and serving. I bet they do it because they like doing it. It was like we visited a friend's house and had a hearty dinner. If you're expecting a bunch of yes-men waiters who unconditionally nod their heads and do as you please, like in any top restaurant, forget it. If you want to be treated like friends or family, spend quality time and have good food, this is a rare place that offers such an experience.
Awesome food. Everything is freshly made hence takes time. Great interior and very warm hosts. You get a warm and homely feeling.
It's confusing how this place got rated so high. This is a family-run place and the lady who welcomed us was friendly and courteous. But there ended the good part of this place. The outside seating area was infested with flies. We sat there for a while before the smell coming from an open toilet nearby drove us inside. The inside seating area was even worse. The seat covers were stained and the flies had also found their way in. The food wasn't the worst I've had but in no way redeemed the rest of the experience. I'd highly recommend against eating here. At least until they give the place a serious overhaul. PS: Attaching some photos of the flies that is indicative of the poor hygiene of the place.
A home made experience. Nothing less and nothing more. The food served here is genuine and homemade. The decor is artful. Garden full of birds. The artwork is like a museum. But it's a home, there are children running around like in a home. If your too fussy and nitpicking kind of a person then you would be better off in dominos. If you like to make good friends and enjoy home made Italian food. Pay a visit here. You will be pleasantly surprised.
Expect a small patio and living space area for the cafe. We came when it was raining, so couldn't sit on the cute patio. The woman running it was sweet and welcoming. She even handed us towels to dry off! Recommend: Coffee (5 stars) Hot chocolate with cinnamon powder English breakfast (5 stars) Cheese pasta was decent, a little heavy on the cheese Hummus was decent It took about an hour for some of the food to come out. So be patient. The library and cable TV will keep you entertained. Wifi is available (dependent on weather conditions) They also accept cash and PayTM!
