The restaurant was charming and cozy. We opted for the ala carte menu for our lunch break, ordering dishes like Kerala Fish Curry, Vege Kurma, and others. However, the downside was the long wait of over 40 minutes for our food, despite there only being two families in the restaurant, including ours. Hopefully, they can address this issue soon.
We stopped here for lunch during a day tour of Kochi. Initially, we were hesitant about the luxurious appearance of the building. However, upon entering the restaurant section, we were delighted to discover a buffet option for only 350 rupees per person, with drinks available for an extra cost. The food was fresh, hot, and tasty. The restaurant is situated on the second floor, but there is an elevator for those who prefer not to use the stairs. We enjoyed a refreshing and cold Kingfisher beer with our meal.
We visited the restaurant of Hotel Fort Queen in Fort Kochin on 12.01.2019 and ordered a seafood plate . In the light of our experience in Baltimore (USA) and Amsterdam (Netherlands), we expected a similar delicious food, but when the dish came, it was tasteless and terrible... with Masala. We asked the waiter to explain it. He replied that it was the inderization of food. Also the articles were not mentioned as in ala carte menu.
