We were a group with 19 people and had registered for short. we were placed in the beautiful beer garden. everyone could order what he wanted, great and not of course! the food was delicious, the wee super and thanks to the motivated waiter it became a successful evening.
We have visited this place several time, food was good every time. They serve wine from their own wineyard (really nice by the way). The stuff was friendly. They have beautiful outdoor area with a lot of tables. We would visit again.
ITs unfortunate that some poor restaurant has to be the first dinner for jet lagged grumpy Americans, who can barely remember how to say Ja and Nein. Weindorf got our pick. It's lovely, but it was raining and we had to sit inside , which was stuffy and there was cigarette smoke from some unknown source. There was no English menu and the waitress spoke little English. Which is ok. The food was generous and passable. If we had not been so stumbling lagged, I would've liked to try some of their wines. The end disappointment to the meal was no "Sweet Surprise". My kids had each ordered a 3-course meal, which purportedly included salad, main and a Sweet Surprise. After we finished dinner, we sat for 1/2 hour without a NachSpeisen offered. When we asked about desert, the waitress said there was no desert included. We were too tired to press the point or ask for the menu back to prove that we had ordered meal with desert. Overall disappointing.
Very beautiful outdoor area.Good food, price is right. friendly staff. that it can take a little longer in the cozy atmosphere and that is probably clear to everyone that is halfway understood. Conclusion: until the next time we are happy to come back.
