Przekaż informację zwrotnąI love this restaurant. the people were so friendly and the bark was great. as it was so cold on the day when I left, they let me eat in the restaurant. the owner and another cook told me what everyone was cut and how it would differ in taste. also has an outdoor shop on a street full of wonderful eating. cheap enough for them to be able to try beef without breaking the bank. the teppanyaki was ¥1000 and the primo cut of bark on rice was ¥800.
Good quality is 5, price is 4, staff attitude is 3! We go there as walk-in at around 1:20, seems not too eager to serve us and we are a group of 8 people. Finally we managed to go to second floor (only us occupying the entire floor which got 40 seats approximately)! We ordered ex-ordinary, premium, regular, and try to appreciate the difference. Ex-ordinary is superb, which is 12000 yen per piece, premium is 7-8000 yen and regular is 4-5000 yen per piece and the difference between the two is small. The cook... she is not too experienced but tried to handle 8 people portion in one go, so some got medium rare, some is almost well done. This is not quite right for a premium priced restaurant. Anyway, my friends like it and we give it a solid 4! Still the beef quality is great!!!
Beef was great Expensive, English as minus and wine trouble (how to finish a bottle, ... get them down to 3 stars. But great meat and nice chef!
Good restaurant for trying Kobe Beef teppanyaki style. The photo of the meat plate shows 2x 80g portions. The lunch package includes a soup, a salad and vegetables. Depending on the quality and which part of the cow, prices for an 80g portion ranges between 2,500-25,800yen. We paid in total 20,000yen for 2 persons for this upper high quality meat (premium sirloin). The chef was friendly and recommended to try different combinations with wasabi, vinegar, salt and garlic. The meat was served in 3 stages so it was always hot when we ate. In general, the restaurant focuses on the food rather than atmosphere, looks and everything else surrounding a meal.
We made mistake by having Kobe beef as our lunch in this tourist restaurant. The price is high but it is acceptable because the location. But the high price should come with high quality and taste. We ordered 2 lunch sets and 4 pieces of Kobe sashimi. We told the chef that we need 1 piece for well done and the rest are medium rare cooking. But he cooked the medium rare to be almost-well done. Very disappointed because that was the rare part of the day and it was the most expensive one we ordered. After we complained to him, he tried to cook medium rare for us. This time it was ok but we think that the meat was very normal taste. They were not delicious at all. We paid around 50,000 yen for lunch and we felt so disappointed. At dinner we went to another restaurant at another area. The taste was so good and we ordered so many dishes but still we paid only 35,000 yen. If you're looking for a good taste of Kobe beef, stay away from this restaurant. Look at the SpiderMan and dont walk inside. They have many branches in Kobe.
