Service was unbearably slow, despite the fact that it was well past the dinner rush (around 9 pm) and the restaurant was less than half full. May have been OK if the food was anything special but honestly it was the most sub-par meal I had during my entire stay there. We ordered 3 main dishes, 3 drinks, and an appetizer. 10 minutes in our drinks finally arrived. About 5 minutes later we got served our appetizer, but no utensils to eat it with. Waitress disappeared and it was about another 3 minute wait until we saw her again. My dish arrived 10 minutes after that, but with the rest of my party starving, I felt bad eating so decided to wait. At this point I whipped out my phone and actually timed the rest of dinner. 8 more minutes for the 2nd dish, and a whopping 12 minutes for the last dish, which was actually a vegetarian noodle dish. Total time to get served nearly an hour. Most of the veggies we're canned variety, meat was dry, the only nice thing was the pineapple ginger shake. Eat somewhere else, most of the restaurants on the strip are far and above better than this one.
Cheap food with good portions. Massive menu. I had the fried chicken burger and an omelette with chicken (I was hungry ok and it tastes great! My wife had a tom yum soup and it looked delicious. She seemed happy: If you're hungry, come here.
Well done Thai food. The Papaya salad was well made, no huge pieces of garlic, it was beaten. Long beans were beaten. More attention to detail than most. The roasted rice with curry and chicken was large, full of vegetables and delicious. The portions here are as big as anywhere I have eaten, but the price was also as cheap as anywhere I have eaten on the island. Spring rolls were also delicious. You even have real table cloths. Great value, well executed Thai food, highly recommended. Pro tip: it's BYOB
Great retaurant! Unbeatable prices and huge portions! The staff is very polite and friendly. Maybe sometimes when the restaurant is really busy, you have to wait a bit for your meal. but that was not a problem for me. Thaifood was great! Loved sweet and sour and roasted rice! Westernfood also brilliant! The burgers ( vegetables and beef) are delicious!!
Walked into this restaurant on Phra Ae beach around 9 pm. It was empty which was surprising. Ordered for fried noodles and fried rice. Most dishes are around 80-100 baht. The quantity was large and enough for one person meal. The taste was decent too. Would rate it average among Lanta restaurants as the bar is higher here with all serving good food. Worth a visit for decent Thai food.
