Galaxy Restaurant Bar - Ko Lanta

Galaxy is one of several good restaurants at the south end of Long Beach, but it is very definitely a favourite. The staff are delightful. The setting, slightly raised above the busy road, is charming. But go there for the food which is truly excellent. Very highly recommended!

First day in Koh Lanta we stopped here at this beautifully family owned restaurant for lunch and had an absolutely amazing lunch!!! The owner was sooo nice and isn’t even the chef but cooked for us. And wow some of the best Thai food we’ve had ever!! Will definitely return!!

Never a let down. Between another couple and ourselves, we’ve visited the Galaxy multiple times while here in Koh Lanta. Whether it’s Lunch or dinner, i would suggest the “Prawn cakes”. extremely fresh and tasty. The local cuisine has the Thai flavors you’re looking for. I was missing a little read meat in my diet and had an urge for a Rib eye. Cooked medium rare, just as I requested. Again, amazing flavors. The owners and staff are there to please. No let done there. Do yourself a favor, enjoy a meal at the Galaxy, it’s out of this world!

Amazing atmosphere with all the handmade by the owner) tables, chairs, lanterns, lights etc. And also the food was fantastic, authentic Thai. I had a delicious green curry. Cocktails are great too. Check this place out!

Went here years ago. Holiday time again. It's, luckely, still here. One of the best food on Lanta. Spicy Thai food. Yummy Burgers. I even treated myself on a steak which was gorgeous. The best service you can ask for. Joom is as delightfull as a summers sky and Marc (husband) is just a pain in the ass butt quite nice. Best atmosphere and best music around. Happy to be back again! Have missed this place!
