Kung - Ko Lanta

No joke, that was one of the best meals my wife and I ever had! We fed every year in NYC, I am the son of a cook, so I mean it when I say that this was absolutely extraordinary. We got fried fish in tamarind sauce, stir fried kale with crispy pork, grilled crabs in crispy garlic sauce, egg tofu soup with chopped chicken and vegetables and papaya salad. Everything was really incredible! Kung is also operated by a beautiful family, her lovely little children's smile and giggles, as they spent time with their relatives and the other employees who are all treated like family made the atmosphere warm and fun! Everyone here seems happy! And it shows in the quality of cooking. Beautiful fresh seafood! Absolutely worth a visit!

Big BBQ seafood and very friendly boss. They serve you free pastries before your meal is served and fresh fruits after. Pad Thai was a miss. We paid 7700 Baht for 2 pax, not sure how it compares with the rest as it is our first night here

Excellent and delicious seafood, Thai Curry soup very well seasoned. The grouper of the other night was steamed in garlic lime and chili sauce. Pay attention to the sauce of the grouper, it's hot and we eat a lot of spicy food, but super Jimmy. The owner is friendly and super real and beautiful, as well as honest. Yesterday we asked if the Snapper got caught that day and he said he wasn't caught yesterday. Good for him. We have returned customers many times as the food is really nice and service impeccable

One of the most unforgettable meals we had on Koh Lanta. Nice experience welcomed by the friendly manager (I think he was, at least). Crispy egg noodles Morning glory with pigs belly were big the fruit at the end was a beautiful surprise.

Everything is delicious here but the absolute highlights are the varieties of this soups here. By far the best ones we had through out the trip. Every type is fantastic. The clear Tom yum or the red or the green or the white. Just go for them. Try the fish soup since those are fresh caught near by. We also had curry crab and steamed snapper and grouper through multiple nights there. All perfectly done.
