Authentic Greek restaurant in the island. Good quality of food, nice seating and amazing service. A must try when visiting Koh Lanta!
I was quite happy when I figured out that there is a Greek restaurant closeby. We decided to go there for dinner the first night. We ordered Greek salad, grilled Halloumi and lamb gyros with Ouzo and Greek wine. The atmosphere was okay but it didn’t really feel like a Greek tavern to begin with. When it comes to the food, the salad was very good, you can never go wrong with a piece of well grilled Halloumi and they were delicious. The lamb gyros (main dish) on the other hand was a huge disappointment. The meat was not grilled but it was like a huge piece of boiled lamb and did not really taste like gyros. As for the drinks, you can never go wrong with Ouzo but the wine was disappointing. I was hoping to go to that restaurant a second time to taste Mediterranean cuisine but I decided to try something new and local for the rest of my stay.
Beautiful Greek food gave us a welcome break from rich Thai flavours. Run by a lovely Greek lady (sorry I didn’t get your name! . Everything we had was delicious- the dips, feta with honey, imam and in particular the lamb pita wrap. Definitely worth a visit if you are missing Mediterranean food.
We’ve order Souvlaki, Pita and Tzatziki for take away a few times, and it’s one of the best dishes we’ve had on Koh Lanta. Great taste and big portions. Will definitely order again and we’re looking forward to dine in also. Give this place a visit!
