Eating was not good, it was just amazing! that is a real jewel of his wife. menu goes over the Thai classics and offers real foodie delikatessen. weeping are exceptionally good and gloomy to die. great evening with friends and will be back on Wednesday.

Really friendly staff and beautiful place to eat and drink directly on the beach! they made vegetarian fried rice and padthai no problem at all! would recommend 100% if in koh lanta!

Some of the most beautiful foods we have in Thailand freshly caught tin fish, garnel and fishing, perfectly cooked and in a really nice location with views of the beach, further south on ko lanta. beautiful place for a delicious bite if you want to spend a little more, but also a little cheaper available if you want to watch their budget — either the dishes are delicious and so beautifully presented — very recommended

Steamed fish was excellent and the view with the sunset was fantastic! also the staff is very friendly. great choice for dinner

My wife and I always looked forward to dining here each year when we visit. Until today I would give it 5 stars. Today however I give 3 stars because smoking is evidently allowed. We asked the manager upon leaving and were shown a yellow Picard ash tray. She said smoking is allowed by the owner, Benjamin We live in Chiang Rai and come here to escape the smokey weather. We love the ocean beach at Shanti Shack, the food, the music and the service. The ambiance we loved there was ruined by a regular customer (the staff informed) who was smoking cigarettes, one after another, at the little single corner shelf. A large unkept man with long hair and a beard. Tonight the place was packed. Besides ourselves, adjacent to this customer were two large groups with children as well. I don't care to smell cigarettes when I eat, especially when eating the fine cuisine I have grown to love at the Shanti Shack. As a parent, I don't appreciate exposing children to cigarettes. Sadly, I won't be returning to the Shanti Shack if they continue to allow such customers to smoke, with no regard to their other customers.
