The milkshakes (strawberry and Chocolate) were great, however it was a very small serving (around 200ml) The breakfast was, however, horrendous. Rubbery burnt eggs, served with 3 tinned, watery mushroom halves and Two slices of unripe tomato, instead of a grilled romato. This is all served on a wooden cutting board. The setting however is lovely, and has so much potential to be great. Very disappointed.
Very disappointed. Beautiful setting. Service poor. Ordered a normal ham and cheese sandwich. After an hour of waiting (my wife an I were the only customers), I went into the kitchen only to see how the staff handled cooked food with their bare hands.
Amazing service, fantastic eating, great coffee! this place was a “big culinary experience”, not only a place to eat and try her cheesecake, it is spectacular!

If you're in the area, Flippin' Knys is an absolute must-visit! This charming B&B also serves delicious lunch and dinner. The service is outstanding, and the food is even better. You can enjoy a spectacular view of old railway tracks in a relaxed atmosphere. Their milkshakes are heavenly, and the food is worth a two-hour drive. They offer the best pancakes you'll find in the Western Cape, and their burgers rank among my top five (and I've tried plenty of different ones!). The wait staff is incredibly friendly and laid-back, making accommodations even when they were low on stock. If you find yourself nearby, stopping at Flippin' Knys will be the best decision you can make.
