Benguela Brasserie - Knysna

This is a beautifully located restaurant near a lake with stunning views. The food and service are fantastic. They run a shuttle from Sedgefield, so one does not need to worry about a glass of wine if one also needs to drive. The restaurant is part of the Lakeside Lodge Spa. We have not stayed over, but it looks like a great place to relax. Karl Ernst and his team are doing an excellent job. We now have visited this outstanding venue several times over three years, and the quality of service and food continues to be high.

One of our favourite destinations. A real hidden gem. Well priced, yet they are a world-class establishment.

Calvin gave me a warm welcome and catered to my needs for the duration of my visit. He even offered to take pics of myself and took me to nice spots for pics by the lake. The restaurant and toilets were super clean and elegant. It definitely met and exceeded my expectations in that regard. The food was of outstanding in quality.
