The servers aren’t bad, but the kitchen is extremely slow. We always end up being here for close to 2 hours. This time, it took an hour just to get our appetizer. I understand that they are busy, so we obviously give the benefit of the doubt. What is unacceptable is that we have a food quality issue every time. I have had ribs that are ice cold and ribs and tater skins that are burnt to a crisp. This time, we were served a cactus blossom that was sitting in a bowl of grease. They were nice and took it off our bill, but it is ridiculous that this happens every time. We have continued to give chances because we understand mistakes happen. It is disappointing, but we are going to have to find a new Texas Roadhouse location.Edited to add: We had to send one of the plates back and ended up waiting until everyone else had finished their food before cancelling the order because they never brought it back. We ended up being here for over 2 hours. It was honestly the worst experience we have had in a restaurant in a long time. The ONLY reason this review has 2 stars instead of 1 is because our server was very nice and tried to remedy and apologize for all issues.
Loved eating here. The food was awesome and the wait wasn't too long. It took about 20 minutes to get seated and order. It's worth the money and it's definately a fun place to go eat. I loved how you can eat the peanuts and throw the shells on the ground. That was unique as well. I recommend anyone who hasn't had a chance to go eat at a great steak restaurant, to go check Texas Roadhouse out!
Over a 3-4 month span we visited 3 times and all 3 times the experience has been the same. 1st visit, sat in bar area, I noticed my server was overwhelmed, and hardly around, I’m pretty sure she had more than 1 section, with that said the other 2 experiences were the same as far as severs seeming to have more than 1 section, took awhile to get our drinks from the bar we sat next too bartender’s weren’t that busy but couldn’t bring our drinks to us, ordered an appetizer but never got it until we were almost finished eating and I finally saw our sever to tell her, no manger came by appetizer wasn’t taken off the bill. 2nd visit again server with 2 sections took forever to get our drinks, never saw her, salads out before appetizers, entrees were cold, server finally cane by when we were finished, told her the food was cold, and again no manger no discount nothing! 3rd visit sat down in empty section, again it’s apparent server had another section as well, rarely saw him, waited awhile to get our bar drinks, food came out cold AGAIN!!! Severs were great! They were overwhelmed and no help from management! The 1 manager I saw on last visit was leaning in front of the pos texting on her phone, no wonder food comes out cold!
We eat here fairly often and enjoy the variety of options on their menu. Recently they have finished some remodeling and it looks nice. We are used to good food and good service at this location. Their manager comes by and checks on things and we like that.
We got at the restaurant at 1:30 p.m. I gave the hostess our last name and my phone number. We were still sitting in the waiting area inside the restaurant at 2:00 p.m. to be expected and not the issue. My issue is this, we counted at least 8-10 people get seated that had most definitely came in AFTER us. We got up and left and I’m yet to get a text from Texas Roadhouse and it’s now 5:30 p.m. Patience is one thing but to seat customers that have literally not waited more than 5-8 minutes that you know came in later than you did is asking too much! We drove about 3 more miles to Chop House and had an excellent meal and didn’t wait 1 minute to be seated when we walked through the door! Better food, better service and absolutely not a bit more expensive!
