Our experience was not pleasant. We ordered teppanyaki and the chef made a mess, burning a few vegetables. It was clear that they lacked experience. This is the second time I have been disappointed at Shu Acapulco. I would not recommend this restaurant.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic, set in a lovely ambiance. The service is top-notch. This place is a must-try experience.
Our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. We ordered teppanyaki and the chef made a mess, burning the food and not creating the usual enjoyable teppanyaki experience. This is the second time this has happened to us at Shu Acapulco and we were left extremely disappointed.
The food at this restaurant is of very good quality. However, the prices are extremely high, especially for drinks. Paying 19,000 Mexican pesos for the cheapest bottle of Mexican wine on the menu is excessive. The architecture of the restaurant is impressive, but it is very noisy. Even though there were only three occupied tepanyaki tables during our visit, it was difficult to hear the cook and be heard by him. The staff does not speak English and the view from the tepanyaki tables is of the shopping center's garage. Despite finally getting a table after being told it was fully booked, we prefer the higher quality food, nicer ambiance, and lower noise level at Suntory in Costera Acapulco.
