I visited Tuesday Teatime and I am so glad I did. The service was incredibly friendly with very attentive staff. The food was freshly cooked and didn't take long to come out. It tasted phenomenal and there was not a scrap left on our plates. The whole family left very happy.

After 11 years, I returned to Knaresborough and visited Drakes, which was always my favorite place as a child. I had heard great things about this chip shop and I was not disappointed last night. The fish and chips were some of the best I've ever had, with large portions and the best curry sauce I've ever tasted. It will now be my go-to place. The fish was thick and flaky, leaving me very impressed.

Pretty good for an English chippie- they have ananas frit, kartoffelscallops and scattered cream eier, so it is a cut above the usual. also a good selection of drinks
