Last Sunday we visited the café early in the morning and hoped to find a well-stocked shop window. So we were rewarded. The baked goods are wonderful, the staff on this day would receive a star best. After the step on the counter and start to give my long order, I was asked to move to the next register. The person who took my order became the person who filled my order while another young woman introduced me into the system. I had given my order to the person who filled my order, but the cashier sanctimoniously said to me “Hon, hon, look at me, I take your order, she can read it over my shoulder” At first, I'm not Hon. I am a very recognized 75-year-old woman who was in a loud and somewhat hectic environment was trying my best to give a $75.00 order and get it right, as you do not have the advantage of choosing the items before them. Of course, my order items were omitted when reading back. We also found later that we were read back an article that was not in the box. All this said, I still tipped the staff because my family is in the industry and I don't think everyone pay for the one weak connection. Your product is great, worth standing in line for. We have supported your business since you opened, although we live in the Hudson Valley of NY. We've also sent a lot of people on your way. Honestly, I was so dismissed by the ingenuity of your employees that I think long and hard before I left the way to stop.
Not my first time at Lils and still really good in terms of service, food and drink selections. No wait this morning but we went later in the morning. Plenty of spots and tables to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. Will be back again...
I love her breakfast bread. My favorite is tuna on sourdough. We tried most sandwiches and they were all delicious. My daughter loves her oat latte. I also like their delicious olive bread and chocolate chip cookies.
Sweet and delicious coffee shop tasted on the main drag. They come here for the baked goods and coffee, everything else seems to lead to a mixed bag of results. The infamous cruelty was almost unavoidably sweet and went well with a shot of her Expresso (they are already doubled. They had gluten-free and allergen friendly bakery and ready to go. I had one of their breakfast packages (egg, black bean bread and hot greens? and was sad to see that it didn't hold well in the heated drawer and threw it away sadly. They also housed a cute vinyl vault in the store only to the left. Very much advise that you take a sweet place to check-in, a snack and sit for a coffee. Bonus points: Take a smoothie from the newly used stand only ten steps away to complement their offers. A star removed for subpar breakfast packaging experience
Lil's cafe is an absolute gem. The place has a lot of character, super bright, lots of art and that bank safe door guarding the collection of vinyl. The food is delicious, fresh and tastes different. It's kind of unique. Great coffee, very nice staff and very hard to decide what to eat!!
