Williamsburg Arms - Kitchener

We had the pleasure of an outstanding server waiting on us on Sat. Feb 18th, 2017 in the middle of the afternoon for lunch and drinks. Our party of eleven was greeted at the door as soon as we walked in and a table was waiting for our group with no prior reservation. "Jordan" our server did not miss a beat. She took our drink order, delivered them and our food order was promptly taken and was brought to the table. We all enjoyed our lunch as the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Thank-you for a wonderful afternoon at the pub and thank-you Jordan for getting us to the hockey game on time!

A good pub is defined by people, both visitors and service staff. this is a good local pub and the staff is very attentive and friendly. the food is very good with a home-made feel. they also have an outside patio for these awesome sunny days. A good selection of beers are offered.

The last two times that we've eaten here, there has been something wrong with the food. This time, both my and my daughter's burgers were burnt and my wife's fries were cold. They remade my burger. They offered to remake my daughter's burger but my wife shared her meal instead. They never did bring the replacement fries. They did take my burger off the bill. Williamsburg Arms used to be one of my favourite places. Now, it's off my list.

The food was OK but the service was slow and not very attentiveOur drink order was taken quickly but we had to wait for a significant amount of time before ordering food. We were there for over 40 min before we got anything to eat.There was no inquiry to make sure our food was suitable and the offer to replenish drinks only came as we finished the meal. There was never any mention of the dessert that was supposed to be included with a child meal and we didn't pursue this because we had been sitting there quite long enough.

Good food, good beer, everyone is friendly. The reason why I only gave it 3 stars is because the live music is WAY to loud. I enjoy live music, but when I can't hear the person beside me that isn't good. If the music was lowered a few decibels, I would give this place 5 stars.
