Wild Wing Kitchener

Stopped by later on a Wednesday night for wings; there were nine of us. The restaurant is quite small, clean and nicely decorated. As we were all in the mood for wings, we had a platter called "the cowboy". About 100 wings with up to ten different sauces.The wings were excellent. Large, nicely cooked and all the sauces / flavours were excellent. Great wings and cold beer: how can you go wrong? There were many other menu items but with a name like Wild Wings, you gotta have the wings.

Ended up here after our first choice failed to feed us. It was a nice friendly place. Easy to speak to each other. Great menu for wings and ribs. No line up when we went, but sat at the bar until a table was available for six adults. Ended up being a nice evening. Food was great.

My meal was very good. When and if I return, I will certainly want to reorder the Gar Par (Garlicky Parmesan creamy) traditional wings and fries by the same name. They are very good. Sadly, my family members who suggested coming here did not have a good experience.My daughter-in-law's meal was inedible it was so over-cooked. She had ordered boneless chicken wings and couldn't even cut them with a knife - they were like little rocks. She held up a french fry, and sadly even they were very dark brown. I couldn't believe they came from the same kitchen. My son didn't receive what he ordered, so he wasn't happy with that.**Please note: the waitress came to our table I think three times asking how our meals were during the meal and they didn't say anything (I wanted to, but they declined). At the very end of the meal my daughter-in-law explained why she didn't finish to the waitress who asked what she could do to make things better. She was told nothing but that we just wanted them to know about the quality. I tipped well, and ensured we left on really good terms.I think its best to give them a chance to make it right or not mention it at all though.

I don't know why I ended up going back to this place tonight. I had such a horrible experience the first time, yet my mind seemed to have forgotten and I went back tonight and well the memories came back. Let me start with my first experience...A few month ago I went with a group of friends, and well it was Wednesday wing night. Half price wings (really good deal), problem is though, this restaurant thinks they can keep you as a customer with just wings. The service was horrible! I ordered the Gar par wings, and some honey garlic flavour, which were good, I must admit. I tried one of my friends Jamaican Me Crazy wings and when I was about to bite into it, I found a hair....ewwww! Since none of us have long hair and it was long and blonde I was done for the night. When I told the waitress she said "well it must belong to one of you guys"...I was shocked by her comment, but not in the mood to argue (I had a new born at home and just wanted to go and see her). I should have learned my lesson and been done with this place that day. Foolish me fast forward three month later to tonight...Wednesday wing night half price and I want to go out with a few buddies. I'm not good at story telling so I can be honest and say I am not making this up. I get to restaurant at 7:10, and my friends are already seated. We get beers and order by 7:20. Our waitress serves a few other people around our area. It was busy but not something that would overwhelm people, and I saw a lot of empty seats. We didn't get our wings until an hour later. My waitress had time to get me a second pint and our table a second pitcher, but yet we didn't get wings!! People that came in after us were served wings and gone already by the time our wings came. I was shocked! All we got at our table was sorry guys, would you like me to get you another refill?My second time around I ordered smoking gar par and bonnie and clyde, I have to say my wings were not fresh out of the fryer hot, but a room temperature. After waiting an hour for them though, I just wanted to eat and go home. Never again will I go to this place and I will tell even more people now how horrible it is. Hair in your food and they blame you! Warm wings! Waiting time as if you ordered a 5 star plate, when all you ordered was wings! My bill tonight was$26 something with wings and two pints. I'm not a jerk so I gave the waitress a $3 tip. Mind you I think $3 was a lot, when all she did was take my drink orders and deliver them twenty minutes apart and wing orders and deliver them an hour apart. funny thing was she noticed when we were done, because the bill was at the table really quick.My lesson that I learned, don't go to a restaurant a second time after the first time was so horrible. No second chances.If you do want good wing on a Wednesday night I suggest Williamsburg Arms. They serve some amazing wings, even though the service there could be a bit better.

Went with a friend. We go to Wild Wing frequently because we love the wings. This was not our usual location. We were surprised and pleased with a totally upscale new decor. Gone were the usual rustic wood benches and varathaned tables and booths. This we were told is the new direction. It is upscale, bright and much more comfortable. The wings were great as usual. They have added french fries to the items included with the wings. For my money, I would have preferred more veggies. Fries were blah. We ordered some onion rings as an appetizer. They were just your frozen factory type onion rings priced at gourmet onion ring prices. Not a good value for $8.00. Our server w as Dani and she did an excellent job serving us.
