Marks Caribbean Kitchen And Seafood

Years ago, we attended a West Indian church in Toronto for many years, and one of the highlights of that experience was the incredible food prepared by the church members, whether at home or during church meals. Dishes like jerk chicken, curried goat, roti, and aki saltfish were always a treat. Mark's food took us back to those wonderful times instantly! It was bursting with flavor and perfectly spiced! After finding the jerk chicken at other West Indian restaurants in town somewhat lacking in flavor, it was a delightful surprise to enjoy one that was so well-seasoned and delicious! When I sneaked a taste of my wife's curried goat, it immediately reminded me of the amazing dish one of the church ladies used to make, which was highly acclaimed. In terms of portion sizes, Mark's is definitely generous! Congratulations to Mark for his outstanding cooking! We will definitely be returning and will bring our friends along... that is, unless they beat us to it after we recommend you to them!

I finally had the chance to visit MCK, and I was thoroughly impressed. The decor is fantastic, and I enjoyed the curry goat along with the best dahl puri I've ever tasted. They also offer craft beer, which was a nice touch. The staff and service were excellent, and even Mark, the chef, came out to check on how everything was. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a wonderful meal. I highly recommend MCK.

The decor was impressive, the music created the perfect atmosphere, and the service was outstanding. For appetizers, we sampled the Calamari, Fish Cakes, and Fried Plantains, all of which were excellent. For the main course, three of us ordered the Beef Curry served with rice, beans, and fresh roti, while the fourth guest went for the Oxtail with rice. The flavors were incredible, and the meat was incredibly tender—literally melting in your mouth with a wonderful blend of spices. The portion sizes were more than generous. We wrapped up our meal with a Cafe Americano and took home the leftovers we couldn’t finish. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I know I’ll be returning frequently. Great job!

Just had my first meal here and it was incredible! First , a lovely atmosphere, great music, nice murals. I ordered the Jerk Chicken, one of my favourites. It was perfect tender, well seasoned and the perfect amount of heat. The service was friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this spot . Check it out!

Visited Mark’s Caribbean Kitchen and Seafood on their soft opening night for dinner. We had the fish cakes for our starter, prawn curry, chicken curry and jerk chicken. We emptied the plates it was that good. The food reflects the customer service. By far the friendliest service in Caribbean Cuisine in Waterloo Region. Even the chef himself introduced himself and made sure everything tasted great. Would definitely recommend Mark’s Caribbean Kitchen and Seafood for any occasion.
