Jack Astor's Grill Kitchener

This is our second time visiting Jack Astor's. Me and my wife were so excited for the dinner.We even bought a dining gift card and was hoping this night would be special.The waitress even after noticing my wife is short seated us in a high rise chair. My wife felt really uncomfortable. Initially we thought other seats were not cleaned yet and we accepted this seat but later realized there were so many other empty seats which were more comfortable and don't know which aliens were they being reserved for. By the time it was too late and we had lost our appetite and mood. Moreover the food was just average. The waiter also did not care to ask us anything till we called her for bill

We had had a great experience at a Jack Astor’s in London so came to the one here in KW. Enormous disappointment. Drinks were fine but not food. It took a long time for our order to come, bread orders came not as a starter but with the meal, no noticeable cheese on one and not enough butter, two of the orders were not particularly warm let alone hot, chicken was burnt on one side, and for the money, it wasn’t nearly enough pasta. Pasta…seriously? After that there was no way we were having dessert. The server also didn’t come to the table enough, especially since it wasn’t particularly busy. Overall terrible experience.

First time dining at Jack Astor’s Kitchener location. My husband ordered the fish and chips and I ordered the chicken parmigiana and the blue raspberry lemonade. The hostesses were very nice and our waitress, Ava, was wonderful. The food was amazing ! It was hot, it was delicious and the portion size perfect ? we will definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely dinner out !
