Glogowski Euro Food - Kitchener

I went in on Monday specifically to stock up on hamburger meat for the summer. I have always bought in bulk, something taught by my German parents. I asked specifically for 30 lbs altogether. I was hit with a dumbfounded look which I realized the woman spoke no English. I spoke in German, held up my hands for 30, had another customer try to help who then lost her place in line and was given dirty looks for that. I understand everything is in kilos but I've never had problems before. Another woman spoke to her and both looked at me holding up a bag of meat and told me that was enough, I didn't need more! It was 12 lbs, not the 30 lbs I had come for and was willing to pay for. I was flabbergasted. Never had I gone shopping anywhere and was told that's enough lady. Unless there was limits. I am a paying customer who I thought the more I buy the more they make.I love the Euro store but this has me very upset and feeling mistreated by staff. If you can't speak English or another of the languages spoken by customers, you shouldn't be behind the counter helping.

I faced very bad customer service in meat department. The Ukrainian girl was rude, she didn’t ask me about how to make my meat and then she told me that I didn’t tell her I want the whole peace of meat instead of slidesed. Moreover her tone was aggressive and annoying no sorry , no options proposed .

I adore here sausages, cheeses, candies in packages, and dairy products. I like the food in this store as I am Ukrainian.

Great selection of European food, laundry, delicious kraut, meats perogies, sweets. Find so many great things.

Love this place! Great local deli with lots of variety, fair prices, efficient and friendly staff. Used to go frequently and even living an hour away now, we still make a special stop when we're in town. Great selection and fresh. Also make some in-store home cooked meals like cabbage rolls and schnitzel, which are pretty good. Also some out of country products, like jams and pickles, that just taste like nothing local. Highly recommend this store!
