darlise Cafe - Kitchener

I have been to Darlise Cafe twice and was very impressed. My husband recently broke his leg and has to use a walker . After physio this morning I wanted to take him to Darlise Cafe for one of their delicious breakfasts. We parked in...the parking garage and took the elevator right to the back door. It seemed perfect until we tried to get in. The steps were too narrow for walker. Also, no railing. I went to the front door thinking we might get in that way...again stairs. We were both very disappointed and returned to our car. Fortunately we were not charged for parking. We would suggest a ramp at the back entrance for customers who may be in wheelchairs, walkers or too elderly for steps. My husband’s situation is temporary but there are many who face barriers like this daily. Please consider making a change to at least one of your entrances. Thank you. Pearl

Staying at the Walper Hotel and walked across the street for breakfast.... VERY pleasantly surprised!! Excellent food and even an in house homemade bumbleberry jam!! Wonderful!!

Delicious food and great service but ear first and then go!! We waited 50 minutes for a table. They only had 2 servers and it was a Saturday morning. The mushroom soup was incredible!!

Our server was friendly, eating was good and good value. but we sat on our breakfast for an hour. Maybe they just caught a day.

Don't look at the GPS where to find this place as I walked around a few blocks from the Medical Clinic (finally made it). Ordered a denver sandwich as I needed to drive another 1.5 hours to my next destination. It is a busy place...with one waitress who was very nice. The Darlise Denver was okay as it was in the tad side of being dry. I wish I ordered something else but such is life. It seemed the other customers were very enjoying their meals very much and since I only had a denver this is why I voted 4/5. Clean establishment helps as well for the vote.
